Fire Prevention Booklets For Families

Beginning on the first Sunday in October to the following Saturday, you are likely to hear a good bit about Fire Prevention Week. You may notice that your kids, grandchildren, or neighborhood shops have something about fire prevention and safety. Knowing that there is info about fire safety isn't enough. You need to establish and practice fire prevention strategies. Here are a few sites with downloads and information you can use in your home and share with your readers.

Kids aren't the only ones that need reminders. Here is a nice little booklet for adults, which is also available in Spanish. It can be used as background info as you teach older children or you can implement the information into your own home safety practices.

Kids can learn about fire prevention and safety with Sparky, the fire dog. They have games, downloads, coloring pages and other cool tools for your kids, even the non-readers!
