Organizing Your Home Does Not Have to be a Dreaded Task

Discuss the possibility of getting the whole family together – not to clean – but to organize the home. Give tips on assigning certain rooms to certain individuals. Offer advice on having a list of “how-to” organize each room and have everybody on the same page. For example, give instructions on making a pile of things that you sometimes use, never use but are holding on to, and things that are just gathering dust bunnies. Offer advice on keeping those piles in one central location and at the end of each individual organizing their assigned room and removing the clutter, then tackle either boxing up, giving away, or tossing the remainder.
