Single Parent Vacation Tips

If you are a single parent, everything seems to be a challenge at first, especially vacationing. If you have older children, let them help you with keeping a watchful eye out on younger siblings and do not feel guilty about it either. You deserve a vacation just as much as your children do so if you all work together, you can all have fun. Prepare in advance as much as you can. Make sure you know where the closest medical facility is to your place of vacation. Have the kids wash, dry, and pack their own stuff. Make sure to set up a meeting place in case anyone wanders and keep cell phones charged at all times. A few ounces of prevention are worth a pound of cure. Also, have everyone pick one thing they really have to do while on vacation and do it ahead of time so there is no room for conflict.
