Blog about how sometimes in all families or friendships there may be a child that is difficult to maintain. Sometimes this can be exacerbated if you are blessed with an easygoing child. Discuss different angles on how to deal with this situation when you are together for a family function or perhaps a playdate. Perhaps having an older teen supervise while you and your friend chat is a good way to keep personalities out of things. Suggest having an outdoor playdate when possible so that fresh air and sunshine are available to run around and play. Make sure that you set boundaries and rules for fair play and for what is acceptable and what is not. Have a list of rules and consequences if rules are broken and rewards such as a healthy but fun treat. Have plenty of activities on hand, as well.
